Who it is for

Leftside is intended for people curious about left-hand traffic, including travellers and people moving from a right-driving country. It offers a place to explore a different lane position and viewpoint before real-world practice with appropriate instruction.

What it simulates

The town includes left-hand traffic, signal-controlled junctions, clockwise roundabouts, one-way streets, a coastal circuit and motorway ramps. The car has simplified automatic gears, steering, braking and collision feedback. Optional coaching highlights lane, speed, signal and collision events.

What it does not claim

Leftside is not an official driving course, a validated driving assessment, a licence test or a substitute for a qualified instructor. It does not reproduce an actual city or every real-world hazard. There are no pedestrians, multiplayer modes or lane-changing AI, and its physics are not calibrated to a particular production vehicle.

Left-hand traffic means driving on the left side of the road; right-hand drive describes the steering wheel’s location in the car. Rules differ between countries that drive on the left. Use current official local guidance for real journeys.

Your practice data

The simulator saves progress and settings in your browser’s local storage. Clearing that site data removes them. The simulator has no cross-device accounts. This describes in-game storage; hosting providers may separately process access logs or authentication data.
